A little confused on the dash placement. I know it is 3/16 on the side but is the dash 3/16 above the frame hoop or it the frame hoop 3/16 above the dash there? Is the center of the dash flush with the top of the hoop? Standard aluminum dash. I am a visual learner so a picture would be great. Thanks.

Here's your visual:

Top of the dash 3/16" down from the top of the tube at the outer ends. Passenger side is the same BUT first cut approximately 2" off of the passenger side end. Don't get too concerned with the relationship between the dash an top of the tube at the center---the hoop bends are inconsistent so that distance varies.

This is where I mounted mine, make sure center of the dash is level with cross member.

Thanks Jeff. I got it in, all lights light up properly and gauges bounce slightly with key and starter engages but volt meter shows nothing. Should that not show voltage with key on?
