Im considering building an 818 but am 6'4, are there any other tall owners out the that have managed to make the car work? Im assuming I will at least need to move the fuel tank but I have a long body so usually have issues being able to see out of the windscreen.
If there are any owners in Australia (Perth) it would be great if I could sit in your car, only real way to be sure.

You could probably make an S or R work, but a C would be really tough. You can move the gas tank to the front and give yourself plenty of leg room, and on the S you can adjust the angle of the windscreen to make it sit up taller (R won't be an issue, not a true windscreen). People have cut the roll bar off and welded on a taller one to give them better roll over protection.

That's a pity, was really interested in the C, less of a fan being on show in a roadster.

I'm 6' 3.5". I fit in my R (barely). To pass the broomstick test at the race track with my helmet on I built a full halo cage off the stock height R rollbar. Otherwise I would have had to cut off the roll bar and raise it at least 3". I did not move the tank from the factory location, but my seat is located as far back and as low as possible. There's info in my build thread on the process.
As for a C, maybe you could fit without a helmet on, but if you ever intend to go to the track I doubt you'll be happy wearing a helmet in the car.
Another option is the newest version (Gen3) of the Type 65 Coupe. FF really did a great job of making it possible for tall drivers to fit with helmets on. I've never driven one but I sat in them at SEMA and am sure I can very comfortably fit with a helmet. In the Gen 1 & 2 there was no way I could fit.

I'm 6'0" and feel maxed-out. Pedals are at/near the limit, and seat position has only a little to work with. Moving the fuel tank would not help over the stepped (driver side) stock tank or Boyd tank (I have it), unless you can live with a very steep seat back angle (I can't). It's obviously seat-type dependent, but with Sparco seats the limit is the top when at a reasonable angle, not the fuel tank. IMHO the 818 design for driver fit is a near miss.

My son (driving in these pictures) is 6'3" 280#. We moved the gas tank to the front. Customized a Kirkey seat. We fit comfortably. We did add a taller roll bar for safety.

Another picture just for fun with smoke rolling off all four tires.
