Can you please tell me the pin out of the headlight switch? What number on the switch corresponds to what wire? A diagram of the headlight switch would be great.

Which connector is switch feed 2 on the RF harness?

1 and 5 are power feed - one of these comes from the fuse panel and the other from the ignition sw.

Connector 1 comes from the fuse panel. This is the one to tie into for the Russ Thompson turn signals.

Hello,
The headlight switch that comes with the MK4 looks almost identical to the one for my 1965 Mustang. I was wondering which pin should be used for interior lights and is it controled by turning the knob? Does this switch also have a rheostat to dim the dash lights? Many thanx.
Regards,
Andy

2 is the dash lights.
The extra connector by pin 1 is the Interior light ground..

Scott,
Does the knob turn to dim the dash light and then click at the end of the travel to turn on interior lights? Many thanx.
Regards,
Andy

That is my assumption. My car is at the painter now. That is one of the items to finish when he removes the body. I still need to install the interior lights on my '68 mustang also.
