For those doing exterior door handles, where did you get yours from?

thought they came with the kit - or at least they used to

Mine came with the kit. If you need some, contact FFR or Speedway Motors has a selection you may find interesting.

Odd...haven't found them yet if they did. Does anyone have a pic of what they look like?

I believe they came in the same box as the gauges, headlights, etc... You can have mine if you want them, using door poppers....

Mine came with these. #10 Phillips head screws or 10/24 rivnuts will do.

Thanks Jim

Definitely did not get those, I'd remember it, I'll ping FFR......I've been through everything, and I only have a couple boxes remaining and that is carpet, interior panels, windshield and seats, that's it.

There is also a lot of other hardware that goes on the inside of the doors for the handles, make sure you have that too.

Hi Jim...yup, that stuff I have, just not the exterior handles.

I emailed David at FFR this morning he responded back already that they don't include the exterior handles as part of the standard kit, you now need to order them specifically if you want them. Didn't know that...oh well, I'll order some through Vintage Inc or Speedway Motors.

Thanks for all the help

Probably because so few use them :D I haven't missed any of the stuff they've deleted, and I still see lots left over that people pay forward! I don't have any I'm afraid.

Just the cost of shipping from Canada, if you have the cable and other stuff it would work out great.....

Thank you for the offer FF33rod, but it turns out I know a guy in MN who is working on a steel body 34 who has a set from Vintage Inc (same set as Jim shows above) he was going to use, but since he decided to go the rest-mod route on his 34 he thinks the vintage look is not right for the car now so he is sending them to me. Being a neighboring state to me, it was like $10 to ship and they will be here Friday (12/11).

As stated earlier there are lots of other little parts you need as well, there is a bracket for the cable, the cable, the clevises etc. I would encourage your getting them from FFR to reduce further frustration.

They have never come with the kit unless a top was ordered. (Or they were specifically asked for)

I did end up ordering the complete kit from FFR, I had to order another part from them anyway. I'll use my friend exterior handles he's sending me on another project I have going.

Door handle kit showed up yesterday via Fed-Ex, now that I have the doors installed I can get these installed.
