Well it is here and so far it is teaching me already to be on my toes and be able to adapt. Got a call from Stewart transport yesterday that he was coming through my neck of the woods in the morning today. Well I was working today so I asked if he could meet me at 0515 before I had to go in to the hospital. He Drove from Knoxville through the night to make it happen. He also set up all of my boxes on the back of the truck so we could check off the boxes quickly and load them in the truck. When he got to the box store parking lot off of the interstate it started raining ( go figure.....) I live in the country. My driveway is a bout ⅓ mile long so there was no way he was getting down it. We had my truck loaded and the roadster on my trailer in 20 minutes with all boxes checked off. He said it was the fastest delivery he has ever done LOL! So. I pulled the truck and trailer into one of my barns that is currently not being used to get it out of the rain and dashed off to work. Going to move it into my garage and starting inventory tomorrow with my best friend and we shall see how this goes. Checked my POL sheet and quite a few things came in before Stewart picked up my rig so that's good. Huge shout out to Stewart. Everything went smooth as silk beginning to end.

Congrats! Let the fun begin.
Mine was delayed a day due to a snow storm and I had to cancel part of a clinic day to accept delivery while the truck was blocking a lane of a fairly busy street in front of my house. Between the cold, the blocked traffic, and the need to get back to work, we unloaded rather quickly too.

Call me crazy but a snake in the stable seems like a bad idea .

Congratulations! Delivery day was the most exciting day for me. The Stewart guys are great, aren’t they? When I got the call he told me he’d be delivering on Christmas day. Which was wonderful, but a snowstorm ended up pushing it to the day after Christmas. My wife was very displeased that I didn't want to go to the in-laws until it arrived. Ultimately, she won out and my neighbor received it for me. I attended by security cam.

Awesome! My POL list was not too bad. Most will not be needed until later in the build. The two main items I will need earlier is the LCAs and the power steering rack. My inventory was good also just some minor brake parts missing. Have fun!

Tmlint - I was about to comment on the same point. I took delivery of my MKIV the Friday after Thanksgiving and had a two-page list POL list. LCAs both front and rear (IRS), power steering, rims, and the entire box of loose tins didn't make it. Hopefully the suspension parts make it soon so I can get the suspension in.

Ahh, the smell of fiberglass and boxes aplenty! My experience with Stewert was the same. Excellent and very helpful. Now get busy! You have a lot of work to do ;)

OK... so productive day. My buddy came over early and he helped me pull the body and get the chassis into the garage and on the dolly. We are having my driveway repaired so right now it is red clay and gravel which does not allow the dolly to role. Good thing I live on a farm.... Skid steer to the rescue... We also did a marathon inventory run together and finished inventory in a 10 hour straight slog fest.. Just like tm I am missing some brake mounting bolts and my POL is not horrible but no LCA or steering rack. Also my final box was one that was added after my kit was finished and waiting to be transported had some stuff missing.

Time to start a build thread I think

I would think the steering rack would be the easiest over the counter item to outsource, no? It has to fit an 87-93 mustang unless you went manual can you delete it and pickup a unit at Autozone or whatnot?
