Old time Factory Five guy with a newbee question. What options are there for a 1990 5.0L to change the “comb over” intake? I’m sure it’s been asked a zillion times before but the search on my phone came back fruitless. Will something like this fit? https://www.jegs.com/i/Speedmaster/746/1-148-015/10002/-1?gclid=Cj0KCQiAtqL-BRC0ARIsAF4K3WE9Z_unZ665aE-w_dA5cTgG9asUg5kG1HHQBy7D5zZ7-PHv0I-4roMaAuANEALw_wcB

Open to suggestions and guidance.

Thank you, Jim

I'm going to refer you to Dave Smith.

The whole thing is worth watching, but pay 20 seconds particular attention beginning around the one minute mark.

Yes that fits, just be sure you get a good ECU to handle the work

Oh, Dave has never seen or ridden in my car. If he had, he wouldn't badmouth stacks.

Jim, they do look cool but really need a lot of attention to get to run right. For normal street driving I would not recommend stacks. But I must admit they sure look good, LOL. Hope all is well with you and your family. I am up to 14 FFR kits now. See what you started, LOL. TW

You could just do a single 4-barrel set-up.

Thank you for the responses guys. I do like how the stacks look, that said an old carb looking set up is ideal too. Just want to get rid of the factory intake.
