View Full Version : Passenger door fitting cowl

I feel like the top inside edge of the door is positioned as high as possible wiithout pushing the outside edge past the body, but the gap to the top of the cowl on the inside is substantial. How much buildup is typically required to mate with the cowl? Thanks!

Most of them take some building up. Depends what you consider "substantial".....ok, that wasn't fair. I suppose you would expect them to be close. They just aren't. I do a lot of building and extending the tip with HSRF and finish with Rage Gold. I also find I have to trim "up" the underside of the tip for clearance. All in a days work for me but I sometimes forget that what is normal for me is not normal for the first timer...da Bat
