Bill from Stewart Transporatation delivered my roadster base kit on Monday evening. Body Buck was completed just before he arrived, as I was originally expecting delivery today. So, today was spent inventorying parts. Factory Five crew did a great job of packaging and labeling all of the parts. Not a single part missing on packing list and a small back order list. In fact they put in a couple of extra screws. Do I have to return those?

I was originally going to wait until January to get the roadster, as that is when I will retire. But the recent sale by FFR forced my hand. It is going to be tough seeing it set in the garage, with only occasional opportunities to work on it on weekends. Oh well, more time to plan the build. Planned or purchased so far; IRS, Boss 302 or 363 (decisions, decisions!), T5, heater, PS, PB, Firewall Forward Panel & Battery Box from FFMetal, Breeze EZ Pack Fuel and Cooling, Disc Brakes R US brakes.

I don't imagine FFR will go broke if you keep them..lol I'm willing to bet they may come in handy. I had to run to the hardware store numerous times for odds and ends, screws, bolts, etc..

Like you say, you have plenty of time to plan your build..And if the cost's climb up, you may decide to postpone retirement for another six months..
