Back in June I posted about my initial install of the Holley front accessory drive system. Here is the link to that post:

https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?36446-Holley-LS-accessory-drive

Now I wanted to update this with the parts I used to complete the install. Note that almost everything was ordered from Amazon, the belt and upper radiator hose were the exceptions as I had to try several to find ones that fit, but they too may be available from Amazon. And, since my theme is black most of these parts listed are black - but you will probably find other versions when searching these P/N's. Also, I just did not care for the flex hose provided with the kit, so I have used rubber hoses instead.

Steam port: I used a 45 degree 1/8" NPT male to 1/4" barbed hose end. Made by AC Performance.
.
Thermostat and housing: ACDelco # 131-156 fit the Holley housing, for the water neck I used a swivel unit from Flashpower, # 181424-200.

Lower hose: Dayco # 81221, this is a 1.5" rubber flex hose 30" long. I have to say that I actually have not installed this yet but it appears it will fit.

Heater hoses: I used Dayco #87611 and #87606. Both of these are molded hoses in an L shape, the 87611 is 3/4" on the short leg and then necks down to 5/8" to fit the bulkhead fitting. The 87606 is 5/8" all the way.

Belt: I found that a Gates # K060651 fit this install which has the power steering pump left off.

Upper hose: Here is where it got difficult, first off there just is not a lot of room to work with when using the standard '35 grill with it being laid back so much, plus you have to have space for the air intake tuning. At first I removed the hose section leading to the engine from the radiator cap filler assembly as it was pointing to the drivers side when the Holley set-up has the hose nipple on the passenger side. Then I trimmed the hose section that goes to the upper radiator nipple to where it was just long enough so the two nipples were not hitting each other.

At that point I went to the local auto parts store and searched their hose inventory, I found Gates # 23234, I was able to trim that hose and get it to fit up to the Holley hose nipple, which by the way is 1.25" so I needed a Gates # 26390 reducer bushing - I did have to trim about 1/4" or so off that to fit.

I was pretty proud of myself until I put the grill surround in place to see how the front end looked mostly together and discovered that the grill surround covered about 1/3 of the radiator cap!! I clearly needed to have more hose between the cap and the radiator. I used a 4" straight hose to move the cap assembly so it would clear the surround, but then noticed that there didn't appear to be room for the air intake tubing. So I ended up slicing up the #23234 upper hose and using a slightly curved section between the radiator and the cap, this is angled towards the passenger side a bit and allows just enough room for the intake tubing. I can't give exact instructions as to where to cut this hose, but cut a little at a time until it fits.

Speaking of the air intake, I think I'll make a separate post about that as it really could apply to any LS install using the stock manifold.

Gary, Thanks for posting. Holley just bumped my mid mount shipping date back to 12/22 so I have plenty of time to sort this all out.

Well that sux that they moved the ship date out - still a chance though that it could arrive in time to go under the Christmas tree!!

Just curious, we're you able to find one that didn't include power steering? I have had no luck selling my P/S parts - I did sell the take off water pump & balancer though.

Good news is I have plenty of other things to work on until it gets here. Should be hearing back from FFR on the exhaust issue, they wanted pictures of motor mounts. I guess to confirm engine and trans are situated correctly.
No luck on a power steering delete kit from Holley so that will go in the surplus pile. I have seen the take off water pumps offered between $125 and $200, how did you do on yours and what does a take off crank pulley go for? PM me if you don’t want to post.
If you do find a buyer for the power steering maybe we could make him a special deal if he buys two!

I sold the water pump for $100 and the pulley for $60 - not a lot of interest lately for buying stuff like this.
