Wow
what a day I had to transport the Hybrid GTM to the Herst building in Manhattan.
Popular mechanics had the car on display in front of the building.
The car won a Breakthrough award, for getting 160 MPGE in competition. You will be able to read more about it in the nov. 2011 issue of popular mechanics.
It has been a tremendous source of pride for me to work on this team
well I hope Jason from FFr will post some pics as he was there also. All I have is a pic out of the mag.
I spent hours trying to Find a parking spot for the truck and trailer
( not going to Happen ) and finally they allowed me to park infront with the GTM so I could attend the cerimonies.
Ps
the West Philly group and myself had our pics taken with James Careron, and Sigourney Weaver. That was also cool.
