I bought a Weathertech CupFone but unfortunately it only holds the phone vertically and I wanted it to be horizontal. I modified it by buying a Ram Mount X-Grip with a medium arm and mounted it to the bottom of the cup that is the right size for my cup holders. Power to phone is supplied via the USB mounts I installed under the dash. I keep it in the trunk when not in use or when I am away from the car. I wear electronic ear plugs when I drive to protect the ears, and they have Bluetooth built in which work fine for music as well, when I feel so inclined, which is not very often.

Good plan. Have Bluetooth hearing aids work great.

Nice... I went without cup holders as I wanted a vintage look. I used the support bar and bought some "clamp on" cell phone holder and cup holders that work perfectly.

Nice job and good set up.
I already have the Walkers blue tooth ear buds for shooting.
I am still in the listening to the car mode, but thanks for the post.

I use Bose "Quiet Control 30" bluetooth earbuds. Very effective in quieting the exhaust and wind noise and connect with my phone for music, etc. I've had them for about 5 years, so they are durable (and the model # may not be the same as what is offered today).

Scott these are the ones I use, they have a band that fits behind the neck, are rechargeable, and the ear buds retract. You can also use them at the shooting range if you are a gun owner.
