Hello. I just ordered a MK4 full kit. Upgraded IPR and wilwood brakes. Going to run a 427. Looking forward to advice, learning and seeing some great cars being built.

Advice? Great! We love giving advice.
1. Get a set of real jack stand pads.
2. Remove the duct tape from the body immediately. If you wait a year like I did, it will get dry, crusty, and gooey.
3. Put a massive amount of painter's tape on the frame - you will step on it more than you'd imagine and wear the paint
4. Take 200 pictures of the body panels and how they fit over each other, etc.
5. Do not rivet the body panels in place unless it's necessary to carry on to the next step
6. When you bust a knuckle, hurt yourself, start cussing, or get frustrated - STOP WORKING and get back to it tomorrow.

CAUTION!! Depending in the painters tape - if you leave it on for more than an month it will be a B&^CH to get off. I suggest putting it on in the area you are working and take it off as you move to another area.

Welcome to the Forum and the Madness... never be afraid to ask your question(s) after you have done a simple search. You will find that there are extremely few topics that you will have that is not all ready here on the forums. Lots of great advice to be had and different ways to empty your wallet....
Welcome, add 15% to whatever you think it will cost to build this car:cool: seriously, way to many cool upgrades to buy for them
