12:55 pm The truck pulled into town, earlier than expected. Bill the Stewart Trans driver was super nice and professional. We had to load in my church parking lot up the road because of soggy ground at the homestead. All the boxes in two trucks and the car on my trailer and home by 2:00 and boxes in shop by 2:20, body on body buck 3:00 and frame on jack stands by 4:00. My cherry picker nicely swung the car over the trailer. I started to inventory, after a quick pit stop, about 4:30 and have gotten through 6 boxes by 9:00. As all of this has been unfolding, I find my self more impressed with the attention to detail of not only the physical parts but the systematic packaging. I should have taken tommorrow off. I'll post pics as soon as I figure it out.

Nick, Congrats!!
I notice you are in Lawton; I'm outside of Tulsa, but I've spent some time in my youth at Ft Sill. Hot in the summer, and cold in the winter in those WWII-era barracks.
What are your build plans? Small block or big block? EFI or carb?
Have fun!!

Joe I am using going with a 429 40 over, MMR 750 TKO, Mass Pro fuel inj, 3 link, moser 3.31. Also have a Harley V-Rod with 106 hp to the ground. But I'm getting like Gallager and don't do to many things anymore where my butt is higher than my head. So, four wheels are looking more practical at my advanced years. LOL

Finished inventory and have a few bolts for fuel tank straps missing and waiting for clutch quadrant and Master cylinder. Otherwise all seems to be here. I marked all panels and removed from frame. Ready to start building. Haven't really felt like waisting time sleeping!

Nick,
Sounds like you've got a nice build planned!
I'm not familiar with the TKO 750 you mentioned, so I don't know how its geared. I'm comparing my 3.27's to your 3.31's. With my .82 TKO 600, I'm kinda on the fence that I mighta shoulda went with 3.08's. Some will say with BB FE & 3.27's I shoulda went with the .64 5th, but I like the small gap between 4th & 5th with the .82, so maybe I would like the 3.08's better?!?! The .82 & 3.27's are OK when cruising, I just always wonder about how 3.08's might be. My 3.27's are great off the line and out of the corners.
My wife has a cousin in MN with a FFR, 460, TKO 600 and he went with 3.08's and is very pleased. I have not ridden in his, so I can't compare.
Anyway, have fun!!

The 750 TKO is a new 500 gone through by Modular Mustang Racing. It is rated to 750 hp with a 3.27 1st to .68 5th. It sounded like a good combo with the big block, I'll find out. Initially I planned on a six speed as an interesting setup but might be shifting more then I needed. We'll see if the bb torque will helps it work.

Well, went to put on firewall after cutting out place for heater, placed silicone and popped in one rivet and wouldn't ya know, the new fancy swivel head rivet tool breaks. Can't find the old reliable one, so drill out the one rivet and and clean up the silcone before it sets and will get a new tool tommorrow. Thanksgiving? I think not according to Murphy.
