Lucas Tail lamps L488 wiring

Hi, just looking for confirmation on what i am thinking.
I purchases Lucas L488 tail lamps with clear lenses for my reverse light set up. Two, one on each side




Can you confirm my thinking on the wiring. The side mounted is the ground. the bottom two is the power. doesn't matter which one?

Those are dual filament lamps and bulbs. If you are only using them for rear backup lights then you want the terminal for the brighter filament. You can test them with a standard 9 volt battery.
