Hi Papa,
Looking good!!
Question: how did you mount the rear bumper-etts? I can't figure out how to get the bolts through from the inside.
Thanks,
Jeff

The link Papa Dave posted is how I do rear bumpers with overriders but that doesn't apply when doing the overriders/bumperettes only. I use a couple of different methods for that and as I recall the method I used on Dave's has become my preferred. Much like what I showed in the linked thread above you'll use all thread with two nuts inside; one to serve as a jamb nut locking it to the coupler and the other that gets run up against the body on the inside. On the outside I use a rubber washer against the body, then a SS flat washer followed by the spacer sleeve. Drill the threaded holes in the bumperettes to 15/32" and slide them over the threaded rod and up against the sleeves. Then the fun begins---with nimble fingers you install a nut onto the all thread protruding into the bumper. It takes a bit of finesse but really isn't that bad (even with my mangled arthritis and carpal tunnel addled hands ;)). You'll use this in conjunction with the nut on the inside of the body to push or pull the lower valance in or out to meet the trunk lid. After everything is where you want it snug the inner and outer nuts to lock it all together.
