Hello, I am thinking bout building a 818 in Arizona, I already have a roadsters mark2 (not in Arizona) has anyone built and registered an 818 in Arizona, if so any lessons tips that would help me?

Welcome, Jim. Like you, I also built a roadster before my 818. You'll find the 818 build a lot of fun because it's different, but with the same FFR support. Registration in Arizona is very easy. You only have to show the DMV that you didn't steal the engine and transmission. You don't need brakes, lights, mufflers, steering or any of those costly accessories other cars have. :D You don't have to pay sales tax, but you'll have to pay the annual registration fee based on value. I brought most of the receipts for parts which they added up to find the value. it will be titled and registered as "SPEC CON" since it's not a replica of anything, like the roadster. The SPEC CON designation means you do not have to pass any emissions test, so you can exclude the pollution controls from your donor if you like.
