So my wife's boss (she drives a new Bullet Mustang) called our local paper when she heard I was doing this build. It is a small town local what's going on type paper, not news. The article ran today so I thought I would share. The reporter did a good job I think but I have to say I never called it a Shelby. Hope you enjoy it. https://www.coastalbreezenews.com/articles/lely-teacher-building-shelby-race-car-in-his-garage/

Very Nice Story...Your story is like most on here and like mine....dreamed of having a muscle car or sports car for many years while also wanting to build one from the bottom up. Now, we can do both.

Very cool, Chris! It's events like these that really make this whole process fun. So much for maintaining a low profile...

Yep no hiding it now. Probably would have rather him come when it was finished just in case it doesn’t but I guess this is even more incentive to not stop.

Very nice write up. Its really great when someone appreciates your work. Interesting connection. Back in 2013 the wife was talking about getting me a birthday present. Told her really had nothing on my mine. She was looking at one of my magazines & said why don't you get this. Factory Five Built not Bought Add. Rest is history.:D

As for the Shelby thing the shape especially after the Ford vs Ferrari movie is now iconic. Today a on the BMW site guy saw a picture of mine & wanted to know if it was a S/C.

Thanks Henry, I actually talked about you more and the help you gave. Was hoping he would have put it in.
