Hi all, quick question for you. In the outside bottom of the passenger foot box, do I rivet metal to metal (without going into the frame), or metal to metal to frame (into the round frame)? Pic below...
Thanks!

I used the longer rivets and went into the frame. I also squeezed in a little silicon sealant into each hole after vacuuming out the drill debris and right before inserting the rivet to keep any moisture out.

Pro builder tip on both that panel and the one on the outside of the driver's footbox. Install those two panels after heat/sound mat and carpet are installed. Makes both of those jobs way easier. When those panels DO get installed, pre-install the heat/sound mat and carpet on the inside of them before installing them. The rivets on that panel can then go all the way through into the chassis at that point using the longer pop-rivets.

Thanks guys. The two outside rivets look like they will work best metal to metal. I inserted all the inside rivets to the frame. Thanks a lot for the quick feedback. IE, thanks for the pro tip! Yes, I’ve seen that advice on other builds as well. That is definitely the plan, I am just fitting and drilling prior to powder coat of the panels…
