I just seen this today about a new Tremec transmission for the aftermarket

Looks good and priced competitively.
The .72 overdrive gearing might turn out to be a nice middle ground - .82 can be a little short, .68 can be a little tall.
Definitely appears to be an improvement on TKO shifting.

Hey Mikeee,
My 5th gear is a .75 O/D and it is great up until about 70 MPH (2,550 RPM) with 3.73's, which is when I grab 6th which is a .50 O/D (1,725 RPM).
A .72 O/D with 3.55 gears should be Pretty Darn Perfect for anything that is all cammed up.
