Hello from NE Florida

I had signed up for the forum a little while ago and have been lurking and reading and searching and reading some more. I am figuring out how I think I want to build my Roadster... I am currently 2-3 years from placing the order to figure the details out. I have completed several frame off rebuilds of Jeeps over the years, the oldest being a '49. This car will be a little different....

Has anybody gone to the Turkey Rod Run at Daytona? My wife and I are planning on going for the first time this year. I hope to see some FFRs, particularly Roadsters.

Welcome, There are usually a few MK4's there. Read some build threads. For sure you and your wife need to sit in one. I will only build one for folks that have sat in one before hand. Reach out to forum members in your area to see one in person and maybe go for a ride. I currently only have a 35 and a 33 at home. I know of a 427 MK4 in Gainesville. PM me if you have any questions. I have built 14 FFR kits and can maybe offer some sound advice. Here is build thread on Gainesville 427 MK4.
