I just rolled over 300 miles on my Roadster and I started noticing today that its louder than I remember. I did my post drive inspection and sure enough I'm missing my drivers side O2 sensor bung hole plug. I guess it fell out somewhere today while I was out driving enjoying this beautiful fall weather. I had used some Permatex Ultra copper gasket sealer on the threads and tightened it down but apparently it worked itself loose. I have a BPE SBF 347 with the FFR headers.

Does anybody know what size plug is used on the FFR headers?

Thanks!

I believe they use a 17 mm thread. I literally purchased an extra oil pan plug to put in the unused port on my header.

Perfect! I just ordered one and I'll pick it up in the AM. Can I use some blue locktite on it or should go with the red flavor?

Thanks so much!

Thank You for clarifying that. I went out and looked at my receipt and it shows 18 mm. You beat me to it.

DO NOT use loctite on exhaust. Use the ultra coat copper, you just didn't have it tightened down enough.

loctite won't work, it is too hot. I would go with ultra copper again but check the threads maybe it did not tighten properly before.

Retighten while everything is fully hot.
