View Full Version : Standard Hood Handles or Hidden latches?

This is the look my car will emulate. I am going for a modern interpretation of one of the original Super Snakes.

I have already eliminated the trunk handle and replace it with an electric latch from the donor and am toying with the idea of doing a hidden latch system like Sam's shown in this thread; http://www.ffcars.com/forums/17-factory-five-roadsters/237767-cobrathegreat-ffr5922-graduates-2010-ffcars-com-graduate-3-a.html
It would be interesting to see how many of you have an opinion on which way I should go with this. I am undecided at this point but am leaning towards just using the standard handles. Kiss (keep it simple stupid) but????????? Tell me what you think. Frank

Normally I like the clean look, but I don't mind the handles. Plus they're handy to remind you to keep them locked and in place - I've driven around a few times where I forgot to lock them and after a bit of a romp on the throttle noticed they'd spun off and the hood was lifting up several inches into the air, trying to flip off onto the highway, lol.
