For the past couple of drives, I startup the car, let it idle a little then back out of the garage. Select 1st gear then pull away. As I'm pulling away i can hear a rattling sound that seems to be coming up from the transmission but it's hard really to tell exactly where it's coming from. Sounds like something hitting against an aluminum panel. Just a slight rattle. After a couple of gear shifts and a couple of corners, the sound is gone.
Anyone have a similar experience ? I've been under the car a number of times and cannot find anything loose. Wondering if it's clutch or transmission issues :(
I've got 3000 miles on the car now. Coyote Gen2 with TKO600 transmission.
mark.

Check the header to sidepipe bolts. I had one loosen up and it was surprising how much noise it made. Also the sidepipe hanger bolts.

Cars with higher mileage have had rattle issues from side pipe internals coming loose. Usually notice it at startup and lower RPM’s .

I recently installed my headers and side pipes and ran the engine and didn't check the tightness of the oxygen sensor plugs in the headers, you would'nt believe the sound those things made being loose.

Im just hoping that the issue is not clutch related

I don't think so. when the clutch engages there's no shaking, just a little rattle. Going to take a harder look at it this weekend.

Looks like steno nailed it. Went for a drive over the weekend and noticed this on my passenger side pipe. Guess the internals were working loose ?

That's not internals working loose that's a mfg defect FFR indicated they had with a bunch of pipes around that time. I'm build 9319 and I had one of my pipes crack just like that after about 1,200 miles. FFR sent me a whole new set as they said the way the pipe was expanded and polished caused the metal to be thin in that area and they have seen a bunch of cracking. Call FFR and they should take care of you. The new ones have a slightly different shape at that spot fixing the issue.

Yup! The pipes with that hard edge seem to be problematic. I’m glad you found it, and FFR will help you out!

I couldn't believe how much noise loose oxygen sensor plugs made.
