I'm assuming DWC has been gone for some time, though the site is still active. Anyone know where to source aluminum door sills for the Roadster?
If this should be in the WTB forum, please move it with my apologies.
I have a set I never installed if you are interested. My cost was $79.95 + shipping. Make me a reasonable offer.

Chris (Dark Water Customs) provided several parts for my #8674 build. I followed the instructions on his website to either put the items in a wish list or send him an email. He got back to me in a reasonable time and I was able to get the parts. That was several years ago. Looked at his website just now and looks like it's the same. Door sill aluminum trim parts are available to be added to the wish list. Obviously should let him know what you're looking for early in the build because it could take some time. But seems eventually some parts are still available.

I received a set of the door sills from Mark just a few weeks ago. He should still be up and running.

I "ordered" a set from DWC (put them on the wish list) a few weeks back. Chris just e-mailed me today to say they were ready to ship. He's definitely still up and running.

I used the word “assume” because I wasn’t sure if DWC was still around and heard he wasn’t so I apologize for misleading anyone. Certainly wasn’t my intent. I did place an “order” on his site but there was no response automated or otherwise so I assumed. Think Bad News Bears here.
I do need two sets so I’ll keep that order in and purchase Papa’s set as well.
You don’t “order” on his site but you put what you want in a wishlist and the items are built at some point.

Update on this thread. I ordered mine through DWC wishlist on the website in November and have received them today. Very happy with the process and end result.

Ditto for me as well. Mine arrived today. I ordered the blasted aluminum but when communicating with Chris, he changed my order on the fly to raw once he realized I wanted to put a polish on them.
Happy with the process, the sills and working with Chris.
