I am using a Coyote engine in my hot rod. The factory oil is 2.5" below the frame. Are there good low profile oil pans that won't cost me $400-$500?

Which generation of Hot Rod and Coyote? In my Gen 1 Hot Rod, the stock oil pan on my Gen 2 (crate) Coyote sticks about 1/2" below the frame. A lot of other things hang down lower. Keith HR #894

What year is your Gen 1 Coyote engine? Mine comes out of a 2013 F150 with the stock oil pan and it sits virtually flush to the bottom of the square side frame tubes. I am wondering if the motor mounts you have may be wrong or installed improperly. You did spec a coyote engine when ordering? I can put a straight edge from one side of the body to the other and the stock pan sits just above the straight edge.

I have a 2014 Mustang GT engine. I was originally using a 4.6 3 valve. I just received the FFR adapters. I have not used them yet but this is encouraging news. Thanks.
