Finally got the power steering pump mounted. ZF pump for a Mini Cooper.

Then on to the small cubby space in the upper floor of the trunk.

Starting the brake lines over the weekend. Think I have it figured out and going to use stainless with AN fittings. No experience with this kind work so might take awhile.

PS pump behind the diff? Long, long hoses for why?

I do not know about AN fittings on brake lines.

Just wanted a really clean engine bay, and to challenge myself with fab skills. No sensible reason I know. Will be running SS tube with just short connecting hose.

Using SS line and figure 37 degree is safer with one flare instead of double flare. Tube sleeves and nuts work great. Most aircraft systems use this setup. Again just a challenge to myself.

Just curious, because I was not able to run PS with my current setup because of too much stuff in the way where it would have to mount on the engine.
How much current does that pump draw?
Is there a way to adjust the steering assist it provides?

Same pump I'm using. I found one at a pick and pull and used it as a core for a rebuilt. Google hot rod electric P/S conversion. Nice video of one install in a hot rod pick up truck.
The toytoa MR2 used one also that would be easier to connect hose to but doesn't have the variable speeds.
Paul used a setup on one of his builds. Some info on the build thread
Attached is a spec sheet. Those folks are in Austural I believe.
