I have a BPE 347 with Sniper EFI. I think I have accounted for all the wires I need, and this is the only wire I haven't been able to confirm whether I do or do not need it. Any ideas how I determine whether it is needed or not?

Thanks!
Ben

Ben,

You won't need that wire for the Sniper. What have you connected for the EFI so far?

Nothing actually connected yet, but below is what I have planned:

Sniper Plug with 8 wires:
Brown: to yellow from vintage tach gauge
Blue: to green fan thermo sw from sending unit bundle
Grey, orange, white, yellow, green, tan: not used

Sniper Ignition coil driver: not used

Sniper Bundle with 6 wires:
Blue: to fuel pump positive (and move inertia switch to ground side of fuel pump)
Red: to battery +
Black: to battery –
Purple + green: not used
Yellow: to coil –
Pink: to tan elect choke from sending unit bundle

Grey wire on distributor: not used

Orange coil/EFI: to coil +

Looks good, Ben. If you don't get a tach signal, use the gray wire on the distributor. Everything else is the same as mine. Did you de-pin the unused wires? Something you may want to consider to avoid possible electrical interference. Holley sells a simple de-pin kit that includes the tool and plugs to keep the empty spots in the connectors dry.

Great! Thanks for checking my work. I'll look into the tool.
