Truck Bed liner Spray - Underside Roadster

Looking for some feedback on spraying the underside of the Roadster for protection. Do you need to do anything to the raw fibreglass or can you just spray/roll onto the rough surface?

Technically, no. I do however spend a little time with some heavy grit paper (e.g. 80 or maybe even rougher) to knock down any cloth that's sticking up, large goobers, whatever. Makes the finished product a little cleaner. Just use a block. Not just a folded piece of sandpaper. Unless you like fiberglass splinters. Ask me how I know.

I knocked off any loose fibers with a coarse scotch Brite pad.
