Set your calendars to watch the live broadcast as the spacecraft performs a Touch And Go sample collection on the Bennu asteroid on October 20th!

For those that like this stuff, this event should be taking place in a few hours! The first few prep activities have already started, but are live streaming will begin at 5pm (Eastern).

Livestream is up! The touch-and-go is about an hour away.
Absolutely perfect mission execution! Now we wait for the photos and to see how much material was collected. Finally, the samples will return to Earth in 2023.

Papa, I'm glad to see there are other people interested in this. I was on a team that made the pyro valves for this mission. It was one of the last programs I worked on before I retired. Looking forward to it's return.
I'm also a fan of your build thread, it is impressive. I refer back to it frequently while I'm building my roadster. Thank you for your thread!!!
