Huge shout out to Johnny and Blueprint Engines. the FedEx freight Fairy showed up today with my carbureted 347 stroker with TKO600 and hydraulic clutch! Johnny made it super easy to order and finished a little earlier from the estimated build date. He responded to all of my emails and questions even on the weekends ( which I think was when I sent all of my questions to him LOL!!). He was super helpful to get me in the right engine drivetrain combo when I was waffling between another engine size and drivetrain. I can't wait to shove it in the chassis when time comes! Now I just wait until my FFR build is complete ( approximately 1 month).

Congratulations!
Christmas Has Truly Come Early!
It really has GoDad! I plan on doing some cosmetic changes to it down the road ( valve covers and air filter cover).

As an aside which rev limiter do you guys with carbs recommend ( i.e. MSD, Pertronix etc....) Thanks!

I'm running HEI style distributor so I'm using a MSD Circle Track unit.

It adjusts from 3,000 to 9,900 RPM in 100 RPM increments so it is easily dialed up or down.

Congrats! The 347 looks great. I agree, Blueprint is a quality supplier, and Johnny is great. Good luck with the install.

Very nice. Gotta love how flat that torque curve is on those strokers! My dyno guy calls them "Torque Monster".
That will give you around 330 hp to the rear wheels.
Agree, BluePrint and Johnny were great to work with!

I totally agree. That torque is sweet. I was super stoked to see the curve. That hp is going to be crazy in such a light machine.

Got it opened up and tucked away in the back of the garage so I can stare at it while working on the car.

If your experience is like mine then you are going to be one happy camper. I look forward to your build :)

Link number 2 has arrived.... The rear end! It is really a quality piece. I am really impressed. The welds are gorgeous and it looks pretty beefy for what it is. I placed one of my 1978 FJ40 Landcruiser differential I rebuilt beside it for a comparison. The FJ diff is built like it is for a UPS truck so I am pretty sure I could not make it fit LOL!

Nice, I know the crate makes good firewood. I put a aluminum cover on mine. I think it is better than the chrome cover. I order this vent from Amazon.

FYI just so you are in the loop I got a call from Stewart that my car will load the Monday the before Thanksgiving. So yours should be close!

Thanks tmlint. I hope I catch a ride on the same truck as you. I have thought about swapping that chrome cover too. Thanks for the link as well !
