I joined the forum a couple weeks ago, after completing the September Roadster Build School with my daughter. We had a blast; building a roadster has been a dream of mine since the early 2000s. That dream has worn off on my daughter and she has been wanting to do this with me for as long as she can remember. Monday morning, after the build school, I ordered the roadster complete kit, with 3 link, wilwood brakes, hydraulic clutch, moser rear end, 17" Halibrand and plan to put a Blue Print 302 TKO combination in it. We also plan to add the some Breeze kits (front battery box, cubby, radiator shroud and lower support) amongst others.

The garage is cleared out (1986 Jeep CJ7 all original is for sale), floors freshly epoxied...ok you get the point we are excited and the Dec 26 shipping date can not come quick enough.

I have been following a couple build threads and learning a bunch. One topic I have not seen is a list of tools that people found they needed but didn't have. (a little background... I am aviation mechanic by training and have a bunch of hand and power tools). That being said, I have ordered more clecoes (you always need one more than you have...), I am looking at tube bending, straightening, flaring, electrical crimping, etc.

If anyone has recommendation of tools they found they needed and brands models you like, I would be interested in hearing your input (since forums like spending others money....I am bound to hear some good suggestions).

Thanks everyone!!
