Working through my post first-start punch list. I am feeling a little fuel weeping around the bottom the the FFR provided fuel regulator. It feels like if coming from the bottom connection (return line). I used the EFI kit supplied threaded adapters (with an o-ring). Obviously I need to address this. Any tricks to button up these connections into the fuel regulator ?
Any track/suggestion welcomed.

I've had my fuel system apart several times. The last time putting it all back together I screwed in a fitting to the fuel rail that used an 'O' ring for sealing. Somehow, while tightening it up, the 'O' ring got destroyed. I don't know how but I just replaced it and everything is now fine.
Work from the simple to the complex.

Are you lubing the o-ring with a bit of oil?

Used silicone.
It was kinda weird because 1/4 of the 'O' ring was gone with some debris washed out by the leaking fuel.

I wouldn't use silicone on a fuel fitting, it's fine on a water or coolant fitting. Petroleum lube on a petroleum product fitting.

Rich,
I used silicone based on some 'research'. One was from a company that sold 'O' rings for fuel injectors. https://www.o-ringsales.com/blogs/what-is-the-best-lubricant-for-fuel-injector-of-o-rings/#:~:text=When%20changing%20O%2Drings&text=If%20you%20want%20the%20installation,the%20O% 2Dring%20sits%20perfectly.
Just did another search and there is a lot of difference of opinion. Seems like everyone has their way. However, I have only read once in another forum not to use silicone and now you too say not to. I would think if it was a real no-no that it would be out there and more obvious.
Thanks for your thoughts though; if I'm going to do this again I will keep your comments in mind and maybe call the local Ford dealer for their thoughts. Maybe, I'll call them anyway.
Thanks again, George

This Fuel regulator is kicking my butt.
Reseated two fittings an replace an o-ring and it’s still leaking. I just ordered two more 6 6AN Flare to 6AN ORB fittings and try it again. Of all the fuel line rigid to flex connections, these are the ones that decided to leak.
Any one had challenges plumbing to the FFR supplied regular?

After replacing all the fittings, it looks like it is leaking from the regulator itself (housing screws).
Anyone see this before ?
