I just talked to ford racing. They said that they have new instructions and they are going to start contacting everyonethat bought a coyote. The fuel pressure should be set to 55 psi with no vacuum line connected to the regulator. My old instructions set it to 40 psi.

Water temp - they said there is a plug in the thermostat housing that you can use for water temp.

Cooling / heater - they said that the heater hoses can be used for the heater and the heater shutoff valve installed in the line. I know others were told that the heads needed flow through these lines at all times. But, the guy at ford racing said it was not needed.

water temp - the plug in the top of the thermostat is used for the degas tank. Autometer makes an inline heater hose coupler that has a port for the temp sensor.

Good to know.

I'm building without the motor yet: What size, and where is the fuel line connection to the motor? I have an AN-6 fitting out of the regulator, but wanted to buy the rest. Thanks.

I am not sure, but I think I used a 3/8 compression to -6 AN.

The tricky connector is to the fuel rail. You have a 3/8" quick disconnect on the rail which you will want to mate to a 6AN. The connector you need is a Russell 640853. It took me a while to find it but once I did it was just the thing and it works great.

FYI, it does not matter weather the vacuum line is on or off. The fuel pressure is set with the engine off.
