I want to upgrade the rear control arms on the 8.8 diff in my mk3 roadster. Any suggestions on where to purchase upgraded items?

Thanks Jim

Jim,

I got mine from FFR. Try factoryfiveparts.com

I ordered a set of lowers for my 3 link setup. Great quality and rock solid.

I used the Factory Five forged lowers and QA1 Adjustable units...all pivot points have grease fittings and removes all rubber bushings. No issues to report and I believe that the bind inherent in the Ford factory units seem greatly reduced.

I upgraded to the Breeze arms, similar to Spohn's. Big difference in ride.

Agree with cnutting.

I too used the Breeze ones. I had a thrust angle issue with my rear end and was pushing a bit to one side. The adjustable arms LCAs fixed that and a much better rides was a big bonus.

I recently installed the Breeze adjustable units on my MK4. Both my wife & I seem to think it rides a whole lot better. Or, maybe it's just wishful thinking after another expense (is it ever done?). Anyway, if anyone needs an extra set of original FFR ones, I listed my old ones in the 'pay it forward' area of this forum.

I replaced the entire suspension on my MK 1 at which time I also went with the Breeze Automotive Rear Lower Control Arms. I like the fact they are adjustable and seem quite well made.

I have Levy's adjustable aluminum arms with rod ends. All of my rear frame connections are solid.

Have Spohn's steel with adjustable Heim Joints on mine.
