Trunk and hood latch disassembled

I am having all of my chrome powder coated. I am trying to figure out how to take the two hood latches and the trunk latch apart. There appears to be a push on retaining ring that needs to be removed so I can take them apart. If that is the case, has anyone found where to purchase new ones since I believe I will have to cut it to take them apart.

You can have them powder coated as is. I didn't have an issue.

Got them apart. Each one had a spring type retainer on the right side of picture that had to be removed. I was able to remove them without damaging them. The guy doing the coating thought it would work out better that way.

There's nothing in there that wouldn't survive the heat for PC.
