Hi Guys,

It's taken a while from delivery to get to the part in my build where I can mount the body panels. For the life of me I cannot locate the bars that go from the lower nose mount to the radiator mount. Anyone have that measure from hole to hole so I can make my own.

Thanks
Glenn

So you mean the two flat bars that have to be twisted to work?

I'll have to take a fender off, and will see if I can do it later today.

Which part do you need measured? http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m35/mxmetros6/818%20Build%20Album/20160313_123840_zps6zz8e7gr.jpg the far left pieces? 19" center to center.

Not sure if those were the part you are looking for, but the photos show the bends I made in the bar stock that i got with the kit. (heated with torch until cherry and twisted). As Grabera wrote, 19" center to center on the hole, bar is 20" long, and between 3/16" and 1/4" thick.

Good luck!

Thanks so much for even contemplating that. I found my parts stashed in an obscure place.

Thanks again
Glenn

Do the early chassis not have these supports? I can't find the bars, the flat pieces, or any mention of them in the instruction manual that came with my car from the previous owner. They are in the manual I downloaded online before starting my build. The upper bracket is also very different.

I've never seen these things before, mine was an early 2015 build.

They come with the new nose. If you’ve got the original nose, you won’t have this hardware.

Thanks Fletch, guess I'll fab something up then.
