They are FFR specific. Post up a "Want to buy" in the classifieds and you may find someone with a leftover. If you don't turn anything up you can use some #10 flat washers under the latch at all 4 corners.

This works too. Sometimes I use a combination of the two.

Good on ya' for helping him out! I've usually got a few but the owners of the last couple of cars didn't send them so my stock is running low...

If you're talking about a shim for the part of the door latch that attaches to the frame, just use a stack of washers (use various thicknesses) to get the perfect fit. Then when you get the right thickness with the washers, pull them off and use a micrometer to measure the total thickness. Get some aluminum round stock at Lowes, cut and sand until it's the thickness you measured previously. Drill a hole and Bob's your uncle. Get the latches and hinges right is a real pain in the butt, but once you get it set and hear the reassuring thud of the door closing with minimal effort, it'll all be worth it.

Yeppers! It's one of those "There is a God" moments for sure and for certain.

It says a lot (and probably not in a good way) about the life of a poor dumb painter when something so trivial makes us happy :o
