I love the idea of a suede interior, so I am toying with the idea of using Alcantara on the doors, dash, and trans tunnel cover... does anyone have any experience with this material? Any/all thoughts or comments are welcome! Thanks in advance.

I've not personally used it, however, it is frequently used on auto seats and interior components. Maybe I'll try it on one of my project. Thanks for the the idea. I am currently developing a cooled seat for ta client and I wonder if I can get it perforated for the seat cushions. Please post if you go this way, I'd love to see what you come up with.

Never worked with it but I have it in both my 911s. I like it and it seems to hold up just fine to me. I am not a huge fan of it on steering wheels though. It does seem to wear more there and particularly if you have sweaty hands.

I have it on my dash, door cards made by herb, transmission tunnel and part of the seats. I have not received the transmission tunnel or seats back from the upholstery yet. I love the way it looks on the dash and doors.
