Excited for engine arrival today. Not really ready for it yet but nice to have it at home and be able to look at it. Going crazy though because I want to hear it.

capt1, is that a 347 carb'ed BPE? Did you order the trans as well? It is just beautiful! I am currently waiting on my BPE carb'ed 347 and TKO600.

Yes full package. Very happy with the whole process with BPE and love the look of it.

Awesome!!! I am really happy for you! I ordered mine before I ordered my kit so it will be delivered before my kit LOL! I will be staring at it for quite some time until it is installed. I suspect I will swap out the valve covers and air filters. Thanks i will eventually switch covers And filter also, will go with cobra covers. Good luck with yours.

If you swap to the oval cobra air filter, you will need to replace the OEM one as its too restrictive for 347 when wide open due to its small height. A few of us have gone this way http://store.cobranda.com/sbovairfielt.html which fits my ride fine and looks neat as well.

Recommend the second ones, they look sweet on the car! Here they are on my 347. Look even better in person!
