I'm wanting to add cruise to my roadster. I've found several that should work and be reliable. However I'm not seeing much out there that would fit in very well from a looks perspective. Has anyone found a period looking switch? Anyway I would appreciate seeing what you came up with. Thanks, Dale

Don’t have any pics, but I have the Rostra cruise on mine and mounted my switch on the far left ear of the dash. You can easily get to it without cluttering the dash.

Mine is mounted under the dash, directly under the speedo (competition layout), tucked back just enough that it's not plainly visible to someone standing outside the car but I can in the driver's seat.

Thanks for the feedback. I had considered mounting it to the bottom of the dash but on a foldable mount so I can fold it away when not using the cruise. I scoped out the area to the left and it would be out of sight for the most part. Dale

Not sure how many switches you have for your cruise, but I used two aftermarket rocker switches to the left of the tach (far left side of dash), with the Set/Accel wired into the push button of the Russ Thompson turn signal. You can barely see the lower switch in this pic.

How does the wireless work for you? I was just looking at one like it this morning.

I see that's pretty clean. The switch I've been looking at is kinda big and gaudy. I never thought about using locally sourced switches.

I'm using a Audiovox aftermarket unit (now Rostra). I mounted the control on a small piece of hinged aluminum that is tucked out of sight unless I need it.

It works perfectly. Very handy while driving, which is why most stock controls are on the wheel. Most people don't even notice it.

That's what I am considering. Looks very functional when you need it but out of sight when you don't. Love you dash!!
