All, I have hydroboost brakes from a 2004 Mach 1, and power steering. I have it all put together according to that awesome diagram that is floating around on this forum, but have a leak in the blue fitting that connects the hydroboost to the power steering rack.

This is the little blue adapter I am using: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-670530
It didn't come with an o-ring or anything, so I am not sure what I am missing here. Has anyone run into this? Is this just the wrong fitting? Certainly doesn't seem like the appropriate place for a teflon sealant...

Note that the Fragola fitting seals with a crush washer that is not included.

I think you need a crush washer?

To be clear, the fitting I am having issues with (and whats in the pictures) is number 2 in the diagram. All the other fittings in the system are good.

I used part number AAF-ALL50951 from Summit.

I think it needs an o-ring. Take the fitting with you to an auto parts store, they should have them in various sizes.

I have the 1997 Hydroboost in mine... I don’t have the additional port plate on mine but .. I used Russell Part # 648060 In that port... no leaks

Update: I tried a few things like cinching the fitting down more, and then throwing an o-ring in. The first o-ring I used was a good diameter, but quickly split under the pressure. I tried another one that was much thinner, and it seems to be holding well! Steering and braking are working well now. So for posterity, if you find yourself using part number RUS-670530 (at this point I'm asking myself why I used mustang brakes at all), it does not come with an o-ring, but you will need one. I think this is case closed!
