The saga continues and it is now time to see if we can make the Air Suspension work on one of these things. Here we go.

What about using a Conventional Air Shocks instead?
The car is so light that this might be a viable option because you are only supporting about 550 (Unloaded) to 700 (Loaded) pounds per wheel.

Just remember who gave you the idea if it doesn't work because I'm the guy who stuffed a 383 SBC with a ZF 6-Speed in front of a Dana 44 in a MK-4 Roadster.
With that said, my ideas tend to be less than normal, but they are always interesting.

Hey Go Dad Go, First off congrats on the car Graduation!!!! Been following since the start. We are going with a slimmer shock than the one we mocked up. A certain company said we were going to have to use a bellows style bag. But as you can see thats not going to work. We talked to another company that said a sleeve style bag/shock will work, so thats who we are going with. We made new brackets for the upper A-arms. Thats all coming up in the next video.

as I recall the GTM "Pandora" forum member "The Stig" used a product from ram lift on his gtm to raise the front end for driveway clearance. a was able to find them with a quick google search ramliftpro No experience with any of them just linking data points together. just incase your current choice does not work out...

I find the idea of a slammed Roadster to be very cool and want to see one done.

Gromit, Thanks I have seen those a well. We are using air suspension to replace the coilovers. Those hydraulic coil lifters are cool and work for picking super low to the ground cars up. We want to do the opposite and lower our car to the ground. LOL I have some projects in mind that we might use those on. Thanks for the suggestion.
