So I painted my car and have it all together. Windshield, doors, hood trunk, exhaust etc... I finished hooking up all the lights and low and behold the front amber lights do not work and the horn does not work. The rear blinkers work, the front headlights work, high and low beams, the four way flashers work but only the rear lights flash, again but not the amber in front. I looked at one of the front amber bulbs and it looks fine. When looking at the fuse panel there are two round heavy duty fuses. One of them I believe is for the four way flashers? Could this be the issue if the rear ones are working? I am really not relishing the thought of dismantling the whole car tAo get to the wiring. ny hep would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Craig

Were they all working in the go cart stage?

Those are flasher relays not fuses. Trace your problem out with the supplied wiring diagram. Start at the front and work back. You did not mention if your parking lights work or not. The problem is most likely in the front harness. I would check the front harness connector first. Also check the black ground wire in the front harness as this feeds horn and front lights. Get a good 12v test light and you will get it figured out.

Yep, sounds like the front harness connector(s). A Power Probe comes in really handy for these types of problems.

So the front harness is connected. What should I do or look for? Electrical is definitely not my strong point.
So the front harness is connected. What should I do or look for? Electrical is definitely not my strong point.
Check for power at the main harness side of the connector for each of the circuits you are having issues with. If there is power at that side of the connector, but not down stream, then the connector may be the issue. Be sure to verify the circuits using the ground pin in that connector. A bad ground will kill all the front harness circuits.

When I put a test light on the pin for the horn it does light up. None of the other pins light the test light.

Is that with the ground pin in the main harness? If so, try a chassis ground and if your circuits work, the issue is a bad ground in the main harness. Let's ignore the horn for a now -- that's a relay controlled circuit.

There are three grounds coming off that harness. Do you mean trace those three grounds and see where they are grounded?

All three are tied to the same source, but that's on the main-to-dash harness plug. You want to check the main-to-front harness plug to see if there is power on the device pins when they are switched on.

Do you mean the other end of the same plug?
No -- Your picture is of the Dash Harness plug. You want to locate the Front Harness plug.

Ok. So locate that harness, find the black ground wires and check to see where they are grounded and make sure it is a good ground?
Locate that plug and test each device pin for power on the main harness side of the plug. Use the ground pin in the plug for ground when testing. Be sure the device is switched on while testing.

ground, ground, ground….on the chassis, on the harness, on the lamp .
Since all the things that aren't working are served by the front harness, you want to see if that haness is getting good power and ground from its source.

Crisis solved but not before dismantling everything. Sometimes it’s the most simple and frustrating thing. The harness was not clipped together. Thanks to all for the help and advice.
Glad you got it figured out. Any fix that doesn't drain your wallet is a good thing.

The same similar thing happens to me last week. Except none of the lights or flashers worked. After 3 hrs of trouble shooting I found the 2 harnesses in the DS foot box were not even plugged. What a rookie thing to do. Works now.
Glad to hear you got yours figured out.

Boys, you need to speak English on this forum so we can all understand.
I don't typically use binary to write messages (directly anyway), but deal with a lot of binary numbers/counters...
