Hi all..I'm new to the FFR family. I just placed my order for the MK4 Roadster and expect to receive it by the end of October. I'm looking for an engine/tranny package from a reputable company in Ontario. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks.

I've heard good things about Engines from Hal in Guelph. Not a crate engine/transmission supplier though.

Pricing was too steep for my budget thus I have resorted to doing my own rebuild. Using Ideal Supply fo my M/C shop work.

I doubt you will find much in the way of volume performance rebuilders here in Canada...the market is too small.

I have also heard of guys importing Blueprint Engines (and I'm sure others) in from the US.

Although it would be nice to go Canadian, why not go with BluePrint? they know exactly which oil pan, accessory drive, etc fit in each kit and you wont be able to beat the price/value even after bringing it to Canada....

I did that (BluePrint) through Ryan Valin and never look back!
