Some spes:

I have Russ Thompson signal column switch wired for flash to pass. Using only one green indicator and all properly wired using diodes. The green indicator light has been changed to 12V LED. I have also installed LED red 2 level brightness LED in the rear lights. I kept the indicators in the front incandescent for now as I was having trouble with the LED amber lights I bought (don't think they were dual brightness) but planned on changing them at some point. Upgraded my flashers to electronic ones with a chassis ground as I intend to change the front amber ones with LED in the future.

ISSUE: I am getting some back-feeding that is effecting the electronic signal flasher (or flasher causing back feeding). I was able to identify this as I changed the flasher back to the original coil one and all seems to be good in the world again. This will prevent me from changing the front indicators to LED though. I have a bilge blower for my footbox vent and with the electronic flasher/turn signal on/blower on the flasher goes haywire. Obviously sensitive to something in the ground.

Any ideas? Similar issues and solutions? Diodes on flasher ground? I guess I can live with incandescent in the front if this keeps the gremlins at bay but will always bug me. Thought a "casting of the net" was in order.

My guess is that your blower motor is somehow finding a better (lower resistance) ground path back to the battery via the grounding used for your flasher and signal light circuit. Try lifting the blower ground off of the frame and running it straight back to the battery to see if the problem goes away.
