Can anyone tell me how to set the GPS speedo to time 0-60?

Use the pushbutton to scroll through the menu to the 0-60 function. Once there, when stopped, push the button to stage. It will start timing when you start moving and give the 0-60 time when that speed is reached. Pretty straightforward. https://www.speedhut.com/instructions/4in_and_3-3_8in_gps_instructions.pdf

I would add that once you get to the 0-60 window, hold the button down to arm. Then just do your thing, it won’t save your time through a power cycle like it will for max speed.

Thank you guys. I can't wait to check it out when the rain stops!

I hope you get a window of good weather, it looks like tropical storm Laura may take a big Uee and head straight at you guys by Saturday.
I don't know if you've tried already, but be easy when you attempt your zero to 60 time. My fist try I had wheel spin and was somewhat sideways all the way and I got a 5.5 sec. When I didn’t stomp it, I only had wheel spin and sideways drift in second gear. That netted me a 4.4! I tried it one more time up a long, open and steep entrance ramp. Good launch and shift and even though i was going uphill I still got a 4.4. Pretty sure I can get it into the 3s but I need practice.

Quickest I've gone is a 4.28 on farm to market country asphalt roads and cold 555G2s. With stickier tires, it will go well into the threes with no trouble.

Best I've got out of the GPS 0-60 is 4.43...shift point at 5k (due to a bad rev limiter). Have fairly crappy tires for this (Cooper Cobras). I think with stickier tires and some practice I should be able to get into the 3's....BTW-am running a 408 with a 4 link.

Best I've gotten is 4.27 with the GPS. I'm sure I can get in the 3's if I hold my shift a little longer and not spin the tires.

I practice it a lot - I'm pretty solidly traction limited to beyond 60mph.
Mk4, Tbird IRS, 393w, ~500hp/500tq, TrueTrac diff, T56, 315/17 NT05 tires.
A good solid run for me is 3.51 @ ~170-180'.
Lose much traction on launch or on the shift to 2nd and it's more like 4.01 @ ~190-200'.
I did see 2.99 @ 140' once after a short shift to second, but I've never been able to do it again (despite my best efforts).
In the range listed - I very, very rarely see anything other than 4.01, 3.76, or 3.51 (note the .25 second increments) - I've yet to see anything in between the (single) 2.99 run and a whole lot of 3.51 runs.
I think I'm going to try 100 TW tires next, it'll be interesting to see if I can get any more out of them.
You guys with solid axles *might* be able to try some drag race suspension setup tricks and pick up some advantage there (but it probably won't help holding corners).

2.99 is impressive, even if it is an outlier. 3.5 was what I was hoping for but with 401hp and 380 tq to the wheels and Nitto 555s it doesn't sound possible, especially at 6000 feet elevation. Though, I did my 0 to 60 attempts in 60 degree weather - I should try again while I can get warm road surfaces.

I doubt you'll get there with 555s.
I never got below 4.01 on Sumitomos.
P.S. - One of the biggest cheats for 0-60 would be getting there without the shift - be that with an extra tall 1st gear (Z06 Corvettes are doing this) or mastering the launch in 2nd gear if you've got the torque + clutch for the launch + the horsepower for the rest.
Gearing is an issue either way, but if that's a game you want to master, this is your easiest cheat.
Add drag radials and traction control and you'll be right up there with anything RWD.

I've seen the same 3.51 many times on the gps, however the data logs give me numbers that vary as I would expect. So, I'm guessing the gps rounds to the 1/4 second for whatever reason.

Dewey: Not bad for a little 281! If you put NT01s on next time, should be able to put a bit more power down.

On a side note, anyone use a phone app and see what numbers they get?
