I just finished my first 20,000 miles and driving a street legal 400 hp go-kart never seems to get old
The one lesson I have learned is to make sure the sound of the exhaust and your right foot doesn’t write a check your butt can’t cash :rolleyes:
Hope everyone enjoys driving their roadster as much as I do mine

I just rolled over 6000 miles on my MK3.1 in the first 9 month timeframe it's been on the road. Certainly a ways from 20K, but I'm surprised I have that many miles on it inside of a year. I've yet to have the accelerator all the way to the floor in any gear yet also have enjoyed very brief periods of low triple digit speeds. Had I known it was going be as much fun to drive as it is, I think I would have figured out how to reduce the time it took me to get it done.

It's time for you to check/lube your front upper A-arms.
Here's to another 20K

Congrats, I am just under 3k on mine for the first season. 500hp/500tq 408w. And yes I have had to change my shorts a couple of times so far. I had respect before I drove it but now I REALLY have respect for the car.

Thanks for the reminder I hit all the grease fittings every winter when I put it up on jack stands, remove the wheels and give everything the once over
Last year I had to use a can of gunk and a power washer to remove the excess grease/dirt that works out of the fittings and onto the frame reminds me of some of the old car’s I’ve owned in the past
