I am building a Gen 1 '33 Hot Rod and bought a Dakota Digital HDX-2017 gauge cluster last year. Now, when I finally got around to wiring the car I had a problem with mounting the housing. I emailed DD describing the issue and got a prompt response from Scott Johnson who is on their sales staff. Scott was very helpful and suggested multiple ways to solve my dilemma. He even offered to send me CAD files if I decided to have a part made by water jetting or additive manufacturing. I wanted to let everyone on the Forum know how impressed I am with Dakota Digital post-sale customer support. I recommend their gauges to anyone building or modifying a car, and the excellent customer service is a bonus.
