Hello everyone, first let me start off by saying I believe these MK4 cobra kits are great. I've been doing a lot of research for a while and decided to start getting my parts together. I haven't ordered my kit yet but my engine is on it's way to get built ( 302 stroked to a 347). And I'm in process of picking up a tko trans and my rear end is being rebuilt now to a five lug with a 3.73 gear. I wanted to get my drivetrain together first so it would be done by time I recieved my kit , which will probably be sometime in April. I just want to thank you to everyone in advance, because I know I'm going to need your help and advice.

Thanks Again
Quentin

Hey qpe51! I am in the same boat as you. I have already purchased a 347 with TKO600 and about to order my kit shortly. Totally stoked to do this build. I will follow along to get ideas and help :)

Enjoy the process. I also did a 347 and TKO 600, both from Blueprint. Started it and go-carted it for the first time a few weeks ago. What a blast! I did a 3:55 gear and the rear end was ready to break loose at will. You have a lot to look forward to.

The people on this forum are fantastic and you can get through anything the car throws at you with their help. Good luck!
