Hi all,

I'm in th eprocess of rebuilding my MKII. It looks it had a Mustang 93 pedal box and master cylinder. The master cylinder was leaking and all corroded, so I want to change that. I was also looking to install a new pedalbox, from wilwood.

I have a few questions/doubts:

Can I install the wilwood master cylinders with my Mustang 93 front disc and rear drum breaks? I was thinking of changing the rotors and put wilwood disc breaks, but my rims are 4 bolts, and don't want to change also the rims.
Can I install this in my MK II (http://www.factoryfiveparts.com/16257-type-65-coupe-pedal-box-assembly/) without major modifications? Sorry, the link is for the type 65 coupe, not the roadster, that bring me to the 2nd question.
The wilwood pedalbox for the roadster has been out of stock like for ever. Any idea why?
That brings me to the last question, is there any good email to contact FFR? I only see a phone on http://www.factoryfiveparts.com/

Thanks a lot!

Personally I would stick with the stock pedal box and do a power brake upgrade. At this point there is no gain to doing the Wilwood swap unless your planning on a hydraulic clutch.

The Wilwood box isn’t a direct bolt in for a Mk2 and would require mods and fabrication to both the footbox sheet metal and tubing.

Thanks for the answers. When you talk about the stock master cylinder and pedalbox are you talking about the Mustang 93 ones?

Also, does FFR has an email to contact them? I have questions about aluminum panels and carpet.

Erne, i just changed mine to power brakes and am really pleased with it, the big issue was finding a stock brake pedal that had not been cut down.

Why wouldn't you use a pedal that was cut down?

Why wouldn't you use a pedal that was cut down?

Because a cut pedal with a booster turns the brakes into an on/off switch...all the way on or all the way off with no in between.
